About Charlie Stypick
Charlie Stypick launched his military career following a course of studies in
Criminal Justice at Jamestown Community College. After earning his Bachelor of
Science from Jamestown in 2001, he enlisted in the United States Army. Charlie
Stypick spent the next four years undergoing military training and developing
management and other vocational skills. Following this period, Mr. Stypick
enrolled at Niagara University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in
Political Science in 2004.
Soon after earning his degree, Charlie Stypick received an opportunity to
join Citigroup as an Operations Clerk in the Manually Initiated Funds Transfer
Department. His responsibilities included processing and managing wire transfer
activity and running data reports. Having demonstrated proficiency in this area,
Charlie Stypick advanced to the position of Intermediate Operations
Representative, which required greater responsibility and knowledge. Mr. Stypick
worked skillfully across departments to ensure proper data management and
adequate transactional processing support, conducting research when necessary
and compiling weekly reports.
In 2007 Charlie Stypick joined the Connecticut-based pharmaceutical company
Purdue Pharma L.P. as an Analyst of Master Files. His new position requires a
high degree of accountability for vendor master data, which Charlie Stypick
manages and updates in accordance with company and federal regulations. Mr.
Stypick also audits random samples of travel and entertainment reports and
compares that information with data from other offices to ensure compliance.
In 2009, Charlie Stypick earned a military promotion to Sergeant and took on
management and training duties at a Norwalk, Connecticut, military training
site. Charlie Stypick was called to active duty in 2010 and served a yearlong
deployment in Afghanistan, where he headed an intelligence team as part of a
larger mission. Upon returning from his tour of duty, Mr. Stypick rejoined his
civilian position at Purdue Pharma.
